: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has ordered the termination of two government employees in Jammu and Kashmir following allegations of their involvement with terrorist organizations.
According to official sources, the dismissed employees have been identified as Farhat Ali Khanday, a Class IV employee in the Education Department, and Mohammad Shafi Dar, a Class IV staff member in the Rural Development Department.
Investigations reportedly revealed that Khanday was associated with Hizbul Mujahideen, while Dar was allegedly acting as an overground worker linked to Lashkar-e-Taiba.
Officials stated that the action was taken based on credible intelligence inputs indicating their involvement in activities considered prejudicial to the security of the state. The administration has reiterated its zero-tolerance policy against any form of support to terrorism within government institutions.
The move is part of an ongoing effort by authorities to ensure accountability and maintain internal security in the region.
