On October 5, 2023, in a powerful address at the Mendhar Tribal Mela in Sagra, Poonch, Javed Ahmed Rana, the Minister for Tribal Affairs, highlighted the urgent need for collective and sustained efforts to protect and promote the tribal values that define communities in the Pir Panjal region.
