Property of Terrorist Handler Attached in Palpora Village

In a decisive action against terrorism, Handwara police today attached the property of a terrorist handler in Palpora village of Kralgund. This operation signifies a crucial step in undermining terror networks in the region.

The police spokesperson confirmed that this action relates to FIR No. 73/2011 of Police Station Kralgund. Investigations revealed that Nazir Ahmad Ganai, a local resident operating from Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK), was actively involved in directing and facilitating terror activities.

“Following due legal procedures and obtaining the necessary sanctions from the competent authority, Ganai’s land in Palpora was attached in the presence of police and revenue officials,” stated the police spokesperson.

This move highlights the police’s relentless commitment to dismantling terror networks and taking stringent action against handlers and anti-national elements. The police emphasized that such operations aim to disrupt support structures that foster terrorism, deter unlawful activities, and maintain peace and security within Handwara.

The police further appealed to the public to cooperate in preserving law and order, underscoring that strict legal action will be taken against anyone assisting anti-national elements.

The attachment of Ganai’s property not only serves as a warning to other potential terror sympathizers but also aims at sending a strong message that the administration will not tolerate any act of terrorism or support for terrorist activities.

Authorities state that enhancing vigilance and community cooperation is integral to preventing the resurgence of terrorist activities. With the community’s support, police wish to create a safer environment for all residents.

Acting against terrorism remains a priority for police forces across the region. They urge citizens to report suspicious activities and individuals who may threaten local peace.
