Sat Sharma Critiques Congress and NC for Opportunist Politics

On September 30, J&K BJP President Sat Sharma criticized Congress, National Conference (NC), People’s Democratic Party (PDP), and other political factions for their so-called opportunist politics that he claims have harmed the development of both Jammu & Kashmir and India.

Sharma inaugurated the Namo Exhibition at Gulshan Chowk, Bandipora, organized as part of the Seva Parv to celebrate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday. Present at the event were influential BJP leaders including Anwar Khan, Arif Raja, and Mudassir Farooq Jan.

In his speech, Sharma launched a spirited assault on the INDI alliance partners, accusing them of perpetuating dynastic politics marked by nepotism, corruption, and favoritism. He stated, “For decades, these parties have thrived on self-interest and family rule, leaving Jammu & Kashmir in the dark while they basked in power’s fruits.”

Sharma continued by emphasizing how these parties have deprived the youth of J&K of opportunities and led them to a path of broken dreams. He stated that they could not match the development agenda of the BJP.

In stark contrast to Sharma’s critiques, he praised Prime Minister Modi for significantly transforming India since 2014. He highlighted unprecedented development, transparency, and accountability introduced under Modi’s government. Sharma asserted that the Modi administration has dismantled corruption and favoritism, focusing on vital areas such as infrastructure, economic reforms, social justice, and national security.

“The difference between the hollow promises of the INDI alliance and Modi Ji’s concrete results is evident to every citizen today,” Sharma stated, appealing to the common public. He urged the people to recognize the significant achievements under Modi’s leadership as opposed to the failures of previous governments.

Further emphasizing Modi’s legacy, Anwar Khan remarked that the exhibition showcases significant milestones in Modi’s life, indicating sacrifice and vision. He asserted that unlike the INDI alliance, which symbolizes corruption and betrayal, the BJP stands for integrity and progress.

Mudassir Farooq Jan amplified Sharma’s sentiments, stating that Modi’s leadership has provided a new identity to India and Jammu & Kashmir on the global stage. Jan firmly asserted that the BJP will carry these developmental achievements to the populace on a mission level.

The comments made during the Namo Exhibition reflect a continued narrative from BJP leaders that seeks to differentiate their governance from past political parties in the region. As the political landscape evolves, the BJP aims to solidify public trust through ongoing community engagement and development initiatives.
