RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav announced on Tuesday that the INDIA bloc’s poll manifesto will serve as a comprehensive vision document designed to elevate Bihar to the forefront of Indian states.
Speaking to reporters ahead of the manifesto’s unveiling, Yadav emphasized, “We have a vision for the state and a roadmap for its growth. It can also be called the ‘Tejashwi Pran Patra’ (Tejashwi’s Resolution Document).” The document is set to outline the coalition’s key initiatives and promises aimed at substantial development.
The highly anticipated opposition coalition’s manifesto is scheduled for release later this afternoon, marking a significant event in the ongoing election campaign.
During the press briefing, Yadav criticized the NDA for its lack of transparency regarding its own electoral strategies. He stated, “They have failed to declare their chief ministerial candidate or release their manifesto. We announced our CM face ahead of the polls and are releasing our manifesto today. What about the NDA? They have neither declared their CM candidate nor released their manifesto. They simply copy our promises.”
Yadav did not hold back in his criticism of the state’s leadership, targeting Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He alleged that both leaders have not succeeded in bringing tangible improvements to Bihar. “Whenever the PM comes to Bihar, he only abuses opposition leaders and indulges in negative politics,” Yadav charged, expressing disappointment in the ruling government’s performance.
The 243-member Bihar Assembly faces elections in two phases — set for November 6 and November 11. The counting of votes and declaration of results are planned for November 14, marking a critical juncture for Bihar’s political landscape.
As the election date draws closer, the political atmosphere intensifies, and the upcoming manifesto launch by the INDIA bloc aims to resonate strongly with the electorate. Bihar’s future direction hinges on these promises, creating a scenario where voters will weigh the new vision against the status quo.
